Looks great, John.

RE: U boat
They look great. I'm not familiar with Lumion - did it create the waves and whitecaps, or do you have to model it?

RE: Student Housing Development
Nice images, seabass, and nice looking building, but not sensitive to the neighborhood, though.

RE: What is the professional term you use?
I think for someone who specializes in architecture and/or interiors, the correct, time-honored title Architectural Illustrator, as evidenced by professional organizations:
American Society of Architectural Illustrators
Association of Architectural Illustrators (UK)
The Australian Society of Architectural IllustratorsIt is also the title used in my 1981 high school architectural drafting text book. However, there is the New York Society of Renderers, which is for architectural and interior "renderers," but the title renderer itself is kinda broad, IMHO.

RE: Community Clubhouse
Very nice, Tinanne. Would like to see more of the project.

RE: Ashdale Manor
Another great image, John.
Wouldn't necessarily be a death trap in a fire. Heavy timber framing will withstand a fire much longer than a lumber fire - the fire creates a protective charred outer layer. You're probably more likely to die from asphyxiation than burning, but that's the usual cause of death in most fires.

RE: Riverbank winter NPR
David, all your images are fantastic, but that first one is perfection. Print it, frame, it, hang it on the wall!

RE: Cedar View
I think this is one of your best texturing jobs, John - the street, sidewalk, the brick fence, house walls, gates, roof...all excellent. They really pop in the larger version of the image, where the details are more noticeable. Are the house walls one texture, or a combination different brick and stone textures? I think the one item that could be improved is the large timbers could use some more bump - the large cracks look flat/have no depth. Foliage integrated perfectly, as usual. Beautiful image.I know it's been mentioned before, but you really should update your status from beginner.

RE: Dornier do-x
Very impressive modeling, texturing, and rendering. My only criticism is that the propellers appear static in some of the images.

RE: Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome
Thanks, iichiversii, for the heads up. Am a big fan of the series. This looks good; can't wait 'til the rest of it airs.

RE: Attack on NPR/Big Bird: bad idea in pres debate
Damn, Solo, that was unexpected and HILARIOUS. You made me burst out laughing at work.

RE: Once Loved
Fantastic, as usual Mr. Higgins....though, still no zombies I see.

RE: Some tank
Nice detailing, Petey. Is it a tank, or an armored transport? I don't see any guns on it.

RE: Disney buys Star Wars, $4+ Billion
Chris, you left off the "reality show" bandwagon everyone seems to have jumped on. I'm thinking "Real Housewives of Curoscant" has a nice ring to it. Or, how about "Dancing with the Sith"?
