Ok, it seems that it is not a bug but a new feature introduced with 2014 version.
This feature is useful to name the nested components without exploding the parent component but is uncomfortable when I have to name the father components. See the image.
I need a plugin to solve this problem.
The plugin could be a simple check box on a toolbar with an inscription 'father'.
When the check box is selected, the text tool returns the name of the father component otherwise it returns the name of the son component.
What do you think?

A strange thing happens with SketchUp Make 2014.
I made a Component named P1, it contain other components, when I apply a text on it I expect to get an auto text like 'P1' but I get the name of the internal component.
Does anyone have this problem?

It's a Bug ?

In the 2013 version does not happen.
My OS is XP.
