I work for a design company creating the interiors of airplanes. We need Max to create high poly models with intricate details. We're looking to use SketchUp for more a stylized 'sketchy' look for our interiors to show to the client before we render a final, realistic image in 3D.
We thought modeling in Max, using SketchUp as a pre-initial drawing, after the fabrics are accepted using the same models to render a realistic scene in Max, hopping we can use more time on the final and less on the initial drawing.
Is there a way to import the textures on the models from Max into SketchUp? Every time I tired it would import it as default gray.
