RE: Help - Can’t get solid correct. The model looks really good, thanks for the tip about the equal number of segments...didn't even think of that. For my information, what did you do to get a solid after you finished the 'follow me' for the solid cap? Did you use a plugin, or just group the two solids? One other question - i noticed that you were also able to get rid of the profile line that was in the center portion of the main body solid (the profile with a keyhole). Did that just happen automatically when you converted the whole model to a solid, or did you do something to get rid of it? Thanks again, very helpful and I definitely learned of a better way to close off a complex solid geometry (follow me)! -Adam

RE: Help - Can’t get solid correct.Hi Thanks, I've attached both 2017/2013 versions. This is supposed to be similar to a hollow cylinder with a solid bottom (like a tall glass), except it has complex inner outer surfaces that were generated in between the two ends. The weird thing is that i have two manifold/watertight solids, but i can't seem to get them to combine into one nice solid!!! Very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated, or some tips on how I can do this myself. (This is my first try at complex geometry, so your methodology for finding my issues and interpreting errors would be appreciated) Other info:
-Model is scaled by 10x already
-I used curviloft twice to make the 'inner' and 'outer' wall surfaces of the main body between two end profiles. Then I used 'solidsolver' to make the mainbody into a solid group. This worked well and the main body shows as a solid group (clean and tidy per solidinspector2)
-When using curviloft i used bezier method 2
-The end cap is grouped and shows as a solid group (clean and tidy per solidinspector2)Thanks for any assistance!

Help - Can’t get solid correct.Hello, I have a sketch up model I made using Curviloft and sketch up pro 2017. I am trying to get a single solid by combing two separate solids. Each solid is neat and tidy according to solid inspector 2, but when I try to combine them I keep getting errors and I can’t figure out what is wrong. I think it’s an interface issue. The model is already scaled up 10x, so it shouldn’t be a size thing. Is there anyone that would be willing to check out my model for me if I upload it? Thanks kindly,
 Adam
