I refresh OS fairly frequently (3/4 months) - so that's what you may be seeing.. that's why I was trying to clear the seats.

I'm only using plugins on one machine anyway. as far as I'm aware, I'm all up to date

to be clear, if the activation happened before 4.30, no way to reset the licenses?

The option is missing because the device is not running Sketchucation Tools 4.3.0

perhaps i'm missing something, but it seems to happen with latest SKtools and libfredo (which is what I'm running) - for example I have 2 fredospline seats, one of them activated in january and yet it cannot be released.

unfortunately i don't have a mac on which to test the bugs.

if any mac using author wants to have a look, that's fine.

time is a bit tight, but hope to update JHSPB sometime in late february if i can.

meantime, i just thought that you can edit manually the toolbar file:

"jhs_pb_settings.txt"

true means the icon will show, false it is hidden.

if you reference the list with the image below, you can make it easier to see which icons will checked (true) or not (false).

I don't mind resetting all the licenses again, right now I'm stuck

I'm having the same problem, cannot release some licences so cannot install them.

Edit: also though, getting a nagging constant licence pop up (fredospline in this case), so cannot work on unless I uninstall it completely

well...re-installed SU with admin, check all permissions to all the LOCAL folders you mentioned (i had all)

no change

then I emptied the whole SCF folder and started all over again - this time it worked!

at least TOS, Spline and Curvizard are good so far - others still to check.

I have ownership of those folders - but will double check all permissions

is there a particular reason why these are not in appdata so we can keep them together with the extensions?

Did a purchase for many of the plugins, however am not able to use them. (I'm all updated, internet etc.)

Just cannot get past this loop.

If I restart SU, the first first time I call the plugin it works. After that, the loop resumes.

Menu. same thing if i assign a shortcut to them (polygon, freehand, etc)

when i choose the select tools from the menu, I only get the rectangle selection.

only wish would be for Portrait scenes to remember subgroups hidden states, something SU can't do unfortunately. (perhaps it does already?)

in windows, you may be able to hide the title bar of the palettes.

i used to do it years ago in win 7, you may need to do a google search. you can also look for autohotkey scripts that will do that. autohotkey can work with specific windows classes so you can affects only the desired palettes and not the main window.

lastly, all of this stuff i used to do it before the 'tray'. no idea how that all works now.
