RE: Church WC
Here is another... I did this one by combining a kerkythea render, sketchy style developed by ross @ ff, and photoshop filters...
imageshack isn't working for me today... soon as I can get it to work I'll post some bigger images so you can see the detail...

Church WC
This is a church rendering done for a client in Georgia. I did a PR rendering a while back and I thought it deserved the watercolor treatment. I'm trying to play around with different styles and techniques to see what I can come up with... what'cha think?

RE: Old Project - New WC attempt!
I don't have CS3... so do you think they have one for CS2? I'm sure they do... thanks for the links and all your help!

RE: Old Project - New WC attempt!
Nope... I am still a noob! I'm trying to learn a lot more about photoshop but it is hard to do considering I only have it here at work. Hopefully I'll be able to afford soon so I can put it on my computer at home! When that happens... I should catch on quick!

RE: Fill in the blank: The WORST software I ever used was
We use Microstation at work and I absolutely hate it! There are like 1000 different icons (exaggeration) to choose from that do the exact same thing. I guess it doesn't help that I was taught AutoCAD in community college! I find it is much faster just to type in the command rather than having to go to find the damn icon! AutoCAD is much more user friendly IMO...
Anyone else agree with me on this that actually uses Microstation?

RE: What do you look like?
It will be nice to see the faces of all these wonderful sketchup users! Good idea!
You can see me on my avatar but I'll put here too!Damn I didn't realize how high I look until now...

RE: Old Project - New WC attempt!
Scott, that is supposed to be a fence and when I turned that sketchy style on it went a little crazy. I'll have to see what I can do about that... thanks for your kind words! Daniel, I need to learn my way around photoshop a little more before I can start getting all crazy with my renderings!

Old Project - New WC attempt!
This is a project that I did about a year ago! I thought I would go back and see what I could do with it in Photoshop using Dennis WC Technique! Let me know what ya think about it...

RE: Procedural terrains
What would happen if you apply this technique to the Grand Canyon... that would be interesting to see....

RE: Apt. Renovation in downtown Atlanta
Scott, I did a quick night rendering but I did not like how it came out. My boss asked that I do one even though I told him that I've not quite got the whole night rendering process figured out yet. So I attempted anyway just to see what I could do. Oh, and I use Kerkythea for all my PR rendering needs! I can't afford to purchase all the other ones for obvious reasons!

RE: Retail, Office and Bank
Thanks Stinkie... that's what I'm here for! Scott... I find they work nice together if they're not right beside each other. It is hard to find or make a 2d cutout of PR flowering trees. If anyone has anything they're willing to share without breaking any laws... feel free to help me out! I really appreciate the comments and suggestions!

RE: Apt. Renovation in downtown Atlanta
The brick will definitely be treated. I'm not sure exactly how they're going to do it but...

RE: Retail, Office and Bank
I agree Dylan... I probably should've taken the time to texture it right but I got lazy there at the end. Thanks everyone!
