Thanks man, I've just watched the video, seems this plugin may come in handy. I will install this, work on my textures and see what the result will be. Thank you.

Applying textures to curved shapes -multiple narrow faces
Hello all!
I am trying to build an exact sliding window model based on the actual dwg drawings I got from the window fabricator and I have already encountered a couple of problems which seem to be way beyond my limited knowlegde of modelling in Sketchup.
So I decided to reach out for help to you guys, hoping to find some solution. So here it is.
I pushed the flat geometry of the sash and frame and I got the nice shaped profile combination, you may notice it has a slightly beveled edges built of dozens of tiny but long faces.
These are not a problem when you lay a homogeneous material on the model but are pain in the neck when it comes to applying wood textures.
Applying them on the larger faces gives nice results, as you can easily position them, but applying them on these small faces is quite the opposite...You can see the ugly artifacts along the edge of the mullion.
As you can imagine, it is very hard to operate and position the texture on such a narrow area...
The question is: how do I position the texture on such areas? Do I really need to go face after face to get a good visual result? Or maybe these can be merged into one curved face?
Thank you all in advance for the ideas.
Regards,
BigK
