RE: Retail, Office and Bank
The last image on the first page is great. Leaving the lines turned on allows the extension setting, which makes this image so much better. I use extension and jitter all the time.

Talking of Idiots, our village is getting a famous one soon. George Bush is moving to Dallas ... and we are moving to Boston (really, but not ONLY because of Bush)
By moving to Boston you get the serious big time idiots - Kennedy and Kerry. Now these two redefine idiocy.
Are you moving there because of work?

RE: Insightful Article on Sarah Palin
Well, game over, huh? Just as well, as I think Paris-ite is licking his wounds.

RE: Pizza hut=pasta hut
+1 on the Chicken Alfredo. It's actually pretty good. I'm dying to try the Macaroni and Bacon.

RE: Decide 2008 by taxes
Either a flat tax or a national sales tax. The sales tax would exempt certain goods, like food, energy, phone, TV, beer, wine and liquor. Seriously, a national sales tax might work. The government would be guaranteed to get their revenue and the citizens would pay tax based on their consumption. If this became and incentive to consume less, great, all the better.
This would almost put accountants out of business because there would be NO tax return, only the tax remittal forms required of the merchant.

But Ron if you don't pay taxes WHO is going to bail out Wall Street?
This would be the icing on the cake. People don't pay mortgages, banks won't loan money... and add a tax rebellion on top. We ain't paying either.
Really!
I think I will live long enough to see a tax rebellion. I feel the rumblings. "Hell yeah, we won't pay" -

This absolutely hilarious! Tina Fey is dead on as usual, but Jason nails Bidens hand gestures and smile poses perfectley. I think this skit takes great shots at both sides including the "biased" moderator. I just can't get enough of Tina Fey dong Palin..this was her best yet. Whoever wrote it really hit the ball out of the park as well...

I agree, nobody in the history of comedy has done a better job than Fey is doing with Palin, not even Rich Little in his heyday. This skit is stomach grabbing, knee slapping hilarious.
Edit: I just watched this again. The guy who play Biden did a tremendous job, too. I thought the bit about Scranton being a hell-hole and all, was hilarious. Probably one of the funnier parts, IMO.

RE: Decide 2008 by taxes
Based on real rough numbers, I save about $500 under Obama. I tell you, it's tempting to tell this pricks in Washington that I'm done paying taxes.

Just goofin' with a goof. I got this one all riled up.

Hey do me with Nixon holding his hands high with the peace sign. Put me on Margaret Thatcher's body. As I think of others, I'll inform you.

UCLA, Florence....WOW!! Now why the hell did you find it necessary to tell everyone this?
Keep 'em comin', stud.

RE: Insightful Article on Sarah Palin
Well, aren't you handy? You know what they say..if the women can't find you handsome they can at least find you handy.
Edit: Actually, this saying comes from the "Red-Green Show". You should know it, it's a Canadian production. I'm sure they have cable in Toronto.

RE: Insightful Article on Sarah Palin
No, we spend our Sundays making fun of goofy, arrogant liberals. In fact we do this every day.

Looks great, Bellwells. Have you tried changing the ground plain from white to a gray to match terrain?
That's a great idea. I'll try that. I was just goofing around with the script and thought this image looked pretty cool.
Edit: It does look better this way:

I once read a a sci-fi short story where they finally decided to elect the President by lottery, which everyone was joined in, so any "Joe Six-pack" (that's not condescending, I guess, when a Republican uses it?) could actually be President. Somehow this election reminded me of that, and how: the people just want to be able to vote for someone like themselves, however they define that, qualifications and issues be damned.
Well-done shoe-shine photo. Comedy that plays with our prejudices is tricky. Some people don't get it. This is sort of a double-whammy.
I think a lot of decisions does come down to personal attraction. I remember polls back in 2004 that showed most people would rather have a beer with Bush than Kerry. Now having a beer with Ted Kennedy...now that's another matter.

I think McCain should have picked Joe Lieberman and Obama should have picked Hillary.
Ill certainly agree with you on that one, although I'm not a real big Lieberman fan and he's from my state. Not to mention he's a flip flopper...
By flip-flopper do you mean he went from being a Democrat to being an Independent? We had a flip-flopper in Colorado a few years ago when Ben Nighthorse Campbell went from Democrat to Republican.
