I have SU8-Pro and have been getting the SU Bugsplat trying to export to a DWG. I checked for version updates and have tried exploding groups in my model to no avail. I even tried opening a new SU file and exporting just the 2d woman as a DWG. Bugsplat every time.

Would someone out there be willing to convert my model for me? I need it done today as I have deliverable due tomorrow. I'm the only guy in my office who uses Sketchup. Our helpdesk is worthless when it comes to this.

I need a 2d, Plan-view, with Camera turned off. In the model file, it is the only Scene tab. The model is low detail factory machinery. Let me know how I can return the favor.

Blackrock Trim Machine and Conveyance

I'm using SU8 at work and we have a policy that won't allow me to install or copy a file onto the C:/Programs folder or any folders therein. Thus, I cannot put plugins into my "Plugins" folder. Is there a way to get SU to look for plugins in an alternate location? I can, for instance, add to a new plugins folder in MyDocuments.

I have a client for whom I'm modeling a seed conveyor. I'd like to hire someone from the forum to setup a SketchyPhysics system so I can simulate the translation of the conveyor, which adjusts its slope. See the real-life contraption here: http://www.ksiconveyors.com/brochures/Model_1208_Seed.pdf

The carriage has two A-frames. The one that points toward the high end of the conveyor is attached to a sliding trolley along its underside. It both slides and pivots. Both A-frames pivot around the wheel axle. When the trolley translates, the tires roll slowly as the whole conveyor pivots on the low end where the hopper is.

I've done some tests with hinges and sliders but just can't seem to get two of them to work on one element. This is a paying client and I'd like to have something to show them by week's end. Hello SketchUppers. My brother was an expert at Sketchup at a time when I was strictly using 3d Studio Max. I've got a new employer now who wants me to use Sketchup and my brother sadly passed away in a motorcycle wreck in 2006. So, I'm pretty much learning from scratch, with exception of this great forum.

I tried the beginner tutorials a few years ago. Now, I cannot access Youtube at my office for the new/improved tutorials because of a "no streaming video" policy there. Do you know of a way I can download these to my hard-drive? I could download them at home, then do the training at the office. Is there another website where I can download tutorial videos?

Eager to become a Sketchup artist. I've always admired the results I've seen by the pro's.
