RE: Why vote Obama?
I'm glad to know you have something to hang on to out of all of this. You never did say what country you are from.

Stinkin, I'll have to give you credit for teaching me something today. I didn't know what a Stahlhelm was and I had to go look it up, thanks.

RE: The Tragedy of American Politics
I have always lived in the USA but apparently I have been missing a couple of things all these years:
#1-I always thought the President had 1 vote that really didn't get counted anywhere but in the polls and elections.
#2-He had a veto pen, but I learned that Congress had the white-out to correct his mistakes.

RE: Why vote Obama?
All I did was to submit a post that I read, and like many do, shared it with others. Sometimes if you share things you read with others, they can shed light on it and you see it for what it really is. You didn't offer any kind of explanation or interpretation, you just went off the deep end with it.
You didn't have to read it, but you did. If you feel violated by something you read, then maybe you shouldn't let your curiosity get the best of you and read things posted on the internet. It sounds to me that you may have an anger management issue.
By the way, what country are you from?

I edited the post that has caused the blood pressure problem with some of you, now go back to arguing with each other, rather than about me. I don't want to offend anyone and be banned, oh my.
Could you possibly F@K* off regardless?
I really don't understand what I said to provoke such a response. I'm glad to know that I'm not one of those people that think others should be banned for a post (until now). Regarding your implied language, it must be contagious and you have set a bad example that others think its OK to follow suit, regardless of position or title. I really shouldn't be surprised, considering this is a political discussion and tempers flare when we are passionate about the way we feel.

Ron
I agree with you, we need another revolution. The first one got us out from under English tyranny. Now we need to take a look and see how we're gonna get out from under the next one. Do the words..."taxation without representation" ring any bells with anyone? Maybe we need to find another harbor somewhere and have another party....
I've been thinking about a write in campaign for "NONE OF THE ABOVE". Hell, it worked for Richard Prior in Brewsters Millions, why not now?
Does it not bother anyone but me that before coming to the US Senate, Obama had never held a public office outside of his neighborhood? His opponent's VP choice has had more experience than he has, but hey, she's just "a soccer mom". Huh, what could she possibly know about politics? not enough to get her name in the top spot apparently. But, this is a senators race, and she never has been a senator, that disqualifies her automatically.
Considering all that, looks like Nader may get the nod on this one.

RE: [Request] Rotation for Individual Objects
I like the idea of multiple panes that are interactive. That might even make the inference issue that people have a bit less challenging too.

DVD Authoring Site
I recently found this site http://www.effectmatrix.com/total_video_to_DVD_Author/. I was looking for a software that would convert .avi files directly to DVD. This is a good one.

RE: SketchUp Portable?
I have a 2gb USB stick that I have SU loaded onto. I have several large drawings on it as well. It works fine for me, just a tad slow, but its far better than nothing.

RE: Anyone uses geforce 8800gt or radeon hd4850?
I've had some flickering issues with my 8800gt in SU6. I have tried a couple of different drivers since I got it. Its not something I cant live with, but I would like the flickering to go away. I hope someone has an answer.

RE: [Plugin] Soft 2 face-edges / Unsoft edges
If I understand what you are saying, the ruby softens all surfaces leaving the edges hard. If that is correct, then you can still have points along the way to attach and work to or from. If memory serves me, I can remember softening/smoothing an object only to loose any distinguishable point to work from. Help me understand if I have missed it

RE: Happy Fathers Day
My daughter gave me a beginners book on raising chickens, I totally didnt expect that and she had to work hard to find it.
For my dad, he is out of town till Tuesday, I will make his favorite old fashioned Hershey's Fudge. He just cant get enough of it, its so sweet and rich, he says it makes his false teeth hurt, but he loves it. I make it about 3 times a year for him.

RE: [Plugin] SUTool: a new way to manager your RB script
Since the object of this script is to shorten menu by moving to the SU Tool, what do you do with the rubies still in the plugin menu?
