    • Hovercraft skirt help ?

      Good morning all

I'm currently being challenged by a hovercraft skirt, the air cushioned bit. I can create the basic add detailed grooves. The best way to explain this I guess is to show it.
So I'm trying to create the ridged/groove effect. Any suggestions would be very helpful and Ill send a virtual pint πŸ˜„

    • RE: Measure Tool - Scaling question?

I think I know the problem

I had my units set to a lower precision.....0.00

Once I set the units to 0.0000 it all worked as described. Once lick and wham πŸ˜„

      thanks all

    • Measure Tool - Scaling question?

      Hi all

I currently have a model which I have at 1.1 scale. I would like to scale this to around 1:300th scale and one of the options I was going to use, was to take the length, scale it to the 1:285 value (6mm scale) Then measure that length with the measure tool and type scaled value.

So I click on the measure tool, click on the points and type the new value, however It does not scale to that new value. In fact, its considerably off.

I am using a 4 m length and scaling that to 1.4 cm . Is this simply to great a range to scale correctly?

      Is there a better way?

      many thanks

      Keith
