I am working on the 3D myself. My doubt was if I can add up something more to the already designed plan sketch. Like on the other side to kitchen entrance after the projection space, I had in my plan allotted space for Fridge, but to this side, If I change on removing the door to entrance. Is there any utilization that can be brought in. As for the projection space, I had asked them in collecting few wall mounts of artistic value, like huge drawings or so or had suggested that we could do some wall paintings, my friend Annette is a good artist and she would be glad to help and be involved in the project.

Last day, I got an offer for a small kitchen renovation. The kitchen is old style. I have the plan sketch drawn out. Tried few reading and online research and came up with few ideas. One main issue that I face with the design is There is a projection inwards that is taking a good space out of the kitchen area. This is a space from the other room bathroom. The house owner wants all new modern facilities and he doesn’t need anything to restructure the whole home. If I am to take off the bathroom projection, then I could come up with a space for a small island. Otherwise, for something like an island, I would have to chop open the side wall, and make it look like a cafe counter, placing seating on the other side. And put up led lighting. The kitchen remodelling in Toronto in one of their blog posts - http://www.avonlearenovations.com/blog/kitchen-renovations/3-renovation-ideas-for-a-small-kitchen/ - has given some good ideas that helped me with the development of plan which is attached. Please suggest what would be good and not, with my plan and also help me with the development of 3D structure for an easy evaluation for the house owner, before the work starts. I have attached the image file for the 3D design I have developed too.
Can you suggest any good option to be used with the open space.

Kitchen Plan

I am trying to implement some knowledge that I gained with my education to the real world, in the yard that my family owns. Yes, I studied Landscape design for my bachelors and have this idea to develop my yard into a good garden, with a pool and other small fun area. I have developed a not so bad plan and design and have contacted the landscaping service in Mississauga, that is where we own the property for the implementation of the plan. But before I invest I would like to have a neat outlay of the development and also keep it safe for my career portfolio. So, hope the community would help me develop the design throughout.
I have not been in good touch with the sketchup for my studies and now I regret that.
Please help me with the doubts that come up during the development stage as well.

This is my first attempt to study the S/w myself after my completion of Landscape Design and Architecture.

Hope the forum would help me more in developing my skills and build more confidence in the environment.
