Well ive sorted the problem now, thanks for the advice guys, i have a new problem however and im sure the answer is very simple.

I am trying to fill a face with glass but only one of the sides is coming up translucent, the otherside is not see through, this creates problems with the rendering.....example

Anyone know how to correct this? ie...make both sides see through

thanks for the help guys. In answer to your question rclub24 yes thats is the space i need filling. I will try your suggestion as it seems like the solution, but i must admit some of the terminology is lost on me. Will give it a crack though

Ive been struggling for a while to work out how to fill in that arch at the top. Without success, could anyone help me out or lead me to somewhere that can?
