    • RE: Drop items into a box

      An open box I guess: You can build it with the default 3d shapes of sketchyphysics (boxes), one box for the base, and four boxes more for the walls. Then in UI all of them should be checked STATIC, and even the base STATICMESH too, just in case.
      Then for the can, use the default cylinder, and whe right-clicking on it: sketchyphysics >> shape >> cylinder. Then multi-copy that can.
      Press the play, when it's done you can save the model in skp and changes will be saved.

      If you already had built all the objects before, you can edit each group, and "introduce" inside of them the objects I explained above, and then hide them. SKetchyphysics will still recognise them.

      Are you sure you are working with components? Groups are not supported.

    • RE: [REQ] Delete or change range of materials

      @bagatelo said:

      Thanks TIG, I already know this script, is very useful, but...

      I think a script with check boxes (with all materials in the scene) to chose what material I say goodbye.

      And maybe with possibility to add text in the checked materials - this time, not to delete, but for rename.

      I need this because I render my scenes with Vray, and is boring to configure all materials in the scene. Every time I organizing my components library, this plugin can be very, very, very useful.

      ❗ Maybe I missunderstood, but isn't this the same ❓ : When you go to MATERIALS > IN THE MODEL > "right-click on one of them" > DELETE > "THIS MATERIAL IS BEING USED. DO YOU WANT TO REPLACE IT WITH THE DEFAULT MATERIAL?".

      ❗ And also there: MATERIALS > IN THE MODEL > Select one of them, and above there's a dialog box where you can change its name.

    • RE: Questions about plugins

      My first post! Here I go,
      In case there's still not a plugin for do that in 100%, this may help you in 50%.

      • It works just for cubes or rectangles, without any other edge crossing their faces, just like the pictured one. (But I think those secondary tubes are easy to do later, at least in your example.)
      • It creates the shape inside the original cube or rectangle, I mean, the result will have the same total volume.
        It's using protrude.rb http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=13095&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=protrude#p95818 (It doesn't work on groups.)
