sure I have absolutly no problem with that, anyone who wants to have a go at it is welcome to.
if the rapidshare link goes down, please do let me know, and i'll upload it again.
FYI: the file is saved in monochrome, there are textures there πŸ˜›

      Happy rendering to all πŸ‘

Thanks Scott i recieved it and as I told you via mail, I am really thankfull and for a really long time πŸ˜„ (maybe for life) in your debt.
And the same Goes for Dirk, I am your humble servant πŸ˜„
the meeting went well today and they gave me some more time for the other renders seeing that i had troubles with my PC.

I am really thankfull to each and everyone who even took the time to read my post and tryied to help me,
and sorry i couldn't respond the post yesterday concerning the monochrome...I work in this style sometimes for a smoother workflow.

      P.S.
πŸ˜„ Solo (Pete) you don't know how much people apreciate some of your work here where I live
and the palm trees are just perfect, they are almost the exact same type we have here.

      • Do not try......
        - Do not model new components in scene, open new instance to create new objects and then make them components and import into scene

....Hope this helps as this is the way I do it.

      Hi there SOLO,
      I ask may a "why"??
i also have the same workflow as you, but i do not know the why, for this point...

It looks nice, especially the design. From the grainy look I thought it was Maxwell at first.

thank you Mateo, it's really good to hear that you like the design, because to be honest i did have some doubts about the design, but now i feel better about it...

before I began with vray i used maxwell as my main renderer...but I really like the final product of vray, because of the speed, and I noticed that if you spend a lil extra time on the texturing, the final product has the same or sometimes even better quality than maxwell.

and thank you again for your comment, much appreciated... πŸ˜„

right now it's just the GI
but when I'm further along i will add lights inside
because there will be lights on the (backpanel) sides of the V also, no just above
and spotlights, so for now i only used the GI to illuminate the model
I will be updating this post as I'm getting to the final product

      and thnx for the comment....
also if you have any ideas on how to make it better, please do let me know
cause i want it to be perfect πŸ˜„

    • The White Store (WIP)

      Hi there peeps,
I am currently working on a project for a friend of mine
She wants to start a chain of stores, and wants them to be completely white, very modern and only apple computers, also the logo has one color (but that color does varies, from store to store)
this is what i came up with, from what she wants

      http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/3064/009qp2.th.jpg

      http://img243.imageshack.us/images/thpix.gif

      any C&C would be helpful
and also i wanted some help on how i should do the front
naturally i want to do it from glass but i don't know how to incorporate the logo in it
(sorry i can't post the logo cause she wants it to be a secret until she starts the company)

    • REQ: Glass Door

      Hi there mates,
I'm currently modeling an oficce for a client of mine,
and the oficce design is based on GLASS,
and all doors are glass doors.

Does anyone have a good glass door for me??? (If it's detailed it would be better)
      Thnx in advance πŸ˜„

These are better and actually have more "feel" to them but I noticed the pictures leaning on the wall are actually not touching the wall. The floor also lacks some definition.

      Scott

Scott the frames are actually not touching the wall because they have stands behind them

      http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/995/framesrt8.th.png

and about the floor what do you mean by "definition", could you explaine this to me, and maybe even give me a few pointer on how to do "it"

and about the windows, i really don't want the outside to be visible,
would it be better if I reduced the blurred effect a bit???

    • RE: Interior VRAY render (first)

I changed a couple of things in the model
the rendering i will accept came out a bit dark, but i like the feel of it,
I will be adding a couple more lights in the room,
because right now i only have the spotlights that light the picture frames.

please do let me know what you think so i can keep on making this better
the quality of this images is not so good because my PC crashed last night and i didn't save the better one,
I am rendering it again so i'll upload it when it's done

      http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/3179/post3ub2.th.jpg

(I changed the position of the TV and rearanged the pictures on the wall,
plus changed the glass material to a more blurred one, and adden a slight terrain outside)

also on a side note, what do you guys think of my logo??
