Hi--Would like an opinion from the SketchUcation community as to which lighting plugin is the preferable option to use with SketchUp. I'm looking for a rendering program that has IES lighting and can render well.
Thanks.
Susan

Not sure if you got my reply. I've already tried adjusting the size of the box with the handle, but with no success. Any other ideas--could it be something to do with the preferences? Susan
Here's the file. Please let me know what you think may be the problem. Thanks
My entity information box doesn't completely open. Also the entity box does not appear on the screen when I right click on a component. I believe it may be corrupt. Any suggestions as to fix this problem?
Thanks.
Here's a screen shot of the entity box. Hope this helps to identify the problem.

OK
You must put all of the 5 .rb [Ruby] script files directly into the Plugins folder - there is another file [Readme.txt] that can stay in its folder - it just has some instructions in it and doesn't 'load'.
My earlier advice related to the paid v4 not the free v3 hence the difference in the file count...Any scripts you get should normally go directly into the Plugins folder - sometimes a Ruby loads subsidiary some files from a sub-folder [but these will usually come zipped into sub-folders already] - AND in the Windowizer case all of the .rb files simply go into the Plugins folder...
When SUp runs it loads any .rb files in the Plugins folder - those in sub-folders are not loaded unless a script in the Plugins folder does so deliberately...
Once you have moved your Windowizer and the other related files into Plugins, and restart SUp you will get a new Plugins Menu item, and probably a context-menu [when a face is selected?]...
Thank you soooooo much.--I moved the .rb flles out of their folder as you stated and finally success at last!!!!! Should I upgrade to v4?

Are there 4 'windowizer*' files in the Plugins folder?
If so... try to select a face and right-click = context-menu - that might have Windowizer near the end of the list ?
Thanks for the suggestion--unfortunately still unsuccessful. I have in my harddrive in the plugins folder, a subfolder called "windowizer30bs" and in that folder I have the following rb scripts-- arraysum.rb, EntsGetAtt.rb, getMaterials.rb, offset.rb, readme.txt, windowizer.rb. When I open sketchup, nothing shows in the plugins drop down and when I right click on a face I don't get the options you mentioned in your reply. Any other ideas?
Susan
How do I successfully install the plugin windowizer into my Mac computer? I have sketchup pro and my operating system is OS X. I have downloaded it from smustard.com into the proper location on my harddrive but it doesn't show up when I open sketchup. Any ideas?
Thanks!
