I re jigged where I placed the rbx files, put them in the main plug in folder instead of in plugins>folder>rbzfolder>rbzfile

Nope.

Ok, unzipped plugin, found where it goes using the Ruby Console, put it in there. Re started SUp, can't find it anywhere in any of any of it.

RBZ was from SUp site, legit download.

The only useful bit in the notes is...

"2. Select "Get Face Centroid" from the context menu."

There is a "face" option under the EDIT drop down, that has more options after it, but no "get face centroid".

I'll keep tinkering, please keep hitting me with help, I love it.

Thanks TIG..in my plugins tab, I only have "cost" and "model on ocean floor", cant seem to import the (unzipped) files..

I realise I'm showing myself up here. I'm used to that.

SUp Make 2015 needs OS 10.8 or later, my mac won't let me get that. It's a world of pain, just need the centroid thing for the time being.

Hi everyone, newbie here, total beginner, green as, starting at zero.

I'm trying to get a 'centroid find centre' plugin to work in SU. Downloaded it to desktop, but SU won't recognise it.

Ive gone to preferences, and have the extension window, but then no "get extension" button.

Mac OS 10.6.8, Sketchup 7, (Free.)

Can you use downloaded plugins for free SU?

Got extension on desktop, I go into SU preferences, but Im not being given an "install extension" button.

Probably got wrong extension type or something. Does it exist for Free SU?
