        go to Window>Model Info>Dimensions

        you can change

        Font
        Font Color
        Leader Type
        and alignment type

then there is the expert settings, that's mainly how to show the dimensions...

        good luck.

              Hi,

and if you get tired of changing it every time when creating a new drawing, then create a new file, change everything you need.
Save it in a convenient place (maybe with the templates), then go to Preferences - Template and choose your freshly customized template.
Sorry if it's been mentioned before. I've just done it, and had to share.

              Regards,
              Szab

No, Szabolcs, that's a good tip. You can always save a file with special sets under the Resources > en-US (in the English version) > Templates folder to have it at hand when changing or choosing your custom templates.

Actually there is a template_utils.rb plugin by Jim Foltz which allows you to easily save a file as a template. Download from here:
                http://www.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/Ruby/em_fil_page.htm

                Gai...

But how do you get rid of mm as default - which, if I remember correctly, is contrary to ISO standards.

With TBA interfaces we can analyse what is to be achieved so that IT can help with automation to achieve it.

Do you mean you don't want to show the units? In Window>Model Info>Units, untick "Display units format."

As concisely helpful as I remember. Thanks.

                        Happy to help.

If you don't want those units to show in future models, remember to open a fresh SketchUp session and make that setting. Then use File>Save as template to make a new default template.
