Hello Everybody!!!
-
Looks good in general. Maybe the layout has a bit too much empty white space. The old @Last forum was so delightfully compressed.

Good morning all I just staggered in and found you all here and I hope there is plenty of beer left as I have a thirst. All that white space makes the forum look very uncrowded so if one wishes one can find a bit of space to gather thoughts in.
Whos round is it? I left my purse at home
Cheers, Bill. -
I'm really glad, guys...

Hello boyz....
-
Hi Kids! I made it over here too.

Hi to everybody over here.
I see Coens' avatar has him up a tree, probably was wondering about everyones reaction to the big switch!
This is good.
nice work....
you can come down from the tree now.I see almost everyone is posting a new avatar in celebration of the upgrade, so, me too.
Thanks to Coen, Gai and all for your hard work to make these new "Homes" so comfortable.

Hello
I suggest the upload attachments´s options should be in white letters.
Plus, as Anssi says, everything more compressed for a better look.Cheers

Most of the white spaces are there to let us put extra text (description) into/under the forum names. Have a look at the Newbie forum for instance (that's the second line) Also the subforums go there (that's the third line).

Ta da!
Slow but sloppy. Had a wee bit of confusion getting here but here none the less.

Hello
I noticed, when loading my avator, the mouse cursor didn't change when placed over the "browse" button. Took me a bit to realize it still worked. Other than that it looks great.
-
Ah, good you're here Daniel - I have run across a few old posts of you and now I can attribute them back to you.
Anyway; what do you mean by this cursor thing?
I don't really understand, sorry. -
When passing my cursor over a website's buttons or check boxes (such as the "Quote, Code, List, etc. boxes on the PAST A REPLY page), it changes to a pointing finger.
-
OK, I see now. The same with the attatchment "browse" button.
These "browse" buttons however aren't generated by the board software (afaik - so someone correct me please if I1m wrong) but the browser itself (it is also some kind of "Windows style" on my machine - unlike the other, tweaked buttons). This can be seen in a non-English system or browser; it even changes the language (mine says for instance: "Tallózás" for browse).
The rest of the buttons can be (and I guess are) mocontrolled by javascript.

Hello Gaieus and Coen,
Wonderful job you did guys, I had no problems logging in although I'm a bit late, just noticed the new forum last night....might change my glasses!
At first glance I love the new sketchy look and overall.
Thanks again for all the work you do for our comfort!Regards,
Patrice

Hi All:
Coen and Gaieus, I am very impressed with the new format; accessing personal info (profiles, etc.) seems so much more intuitive. It is such a relief to have to an organized (as well as a visually pleasing) forum in which to communicate .... I am so putout by so many of the other user group forums which are so hard to follow.
I haven't had a chance to fully explore the forum options. Will it or does it have the ability to display a "Tree-ed" structure?
Regards.

Hi John,
Glad you made it here (I got your PMs...)
Well, first of all the increased security, the compatibility (with later versions) and some extended features are the cause of this move - not really the look. But of course it was also a fun thing to "tweak" it so that it matches some people's old feelings as well as it has some funny, "sketchy" elements.
Credits to Coen though...@unknownuser said:

I'm afraid that's not possible - as a reference here not the tree use but these quotes can be used (when answering posts way above the last one).
