Lots to entertain outside of rendering etc but looking into things again.
Higher def and more passes for the render 4k x 4k for the render.
Another step up from Rayscaper too with the latest build.

Looks like a good scene to flesh out. The pillows and mattress material seems to have a very reflective setting applied.

Good natural light makes it easier, I hope. There is a pair of directed lights on the wall above the bed which may affect the pillows and sheet. First render with the latest build and my first render for a while.
Some residents here being instructed to expose asbestos and themselves to it.What with new roofs etc and tools/waste flying everywhere we need to be careful.
Still having concentration issues, current working diagnosis of long covid is a bit contentious with me, I think it is just biped flu.

A bit deeper, altered the hdri image and remembered to change the setting to hdri in the environment tab. I also did away with part of a wall to open up the room properly which also reveals another window for natural light.

Great start on what can be a very nice render.

Thank you. Still not getting my head around artificial lights and in particular overlapping of illumination from different light sources.
I like this render program as it is and know it will get better. It challenges my grey cell but hey, what's life without a challenge. -

Before you tackle interior lighting it would be worth exploring why your scenes are struggling to light interior spaces.
It could be a glass setting or your HDR is not casting enough light.
Add a Sun light along with the HDR and make it shoot light in the window. Adjust its strength and radius to get it to your liking.
That's what I would do before even adding any assets into the scene. Get the interior space lit how you want.
