Rayscaper, My trip down the road to adjumacation.

@pixelcruncher Well, randomness is a fact of so it does not surprise me that items saved in a model vanish. Mostly lights but now, huge chunks of geometry.

Ground floor. I thinkthat the memory bloat associated with additional Sketchu geometry has something to do with the issues I have here. deleting temp files and rebooting Sketchup see's a semblance of normality.

I used Twilight Render for a while there. Right after Kerkythea. It was a good learning period. I started out with rendering kind of late in my life. Or career. I one can call it a career.

Ta, contrafabulated by inconsistency somewhere in the machine lately so, much trial and error to see what will work today. New view. The place really is 'small'.

@Mike-Amos Always find your small space designs interesting. Only comment I’ll make on this one is I’d surely bust my a** on those crazy stairs. 🤕

Hey Mike, I also have an interest in tiny homes. I have also noted that I have never seen alternative step designs such as folding stairs etc. It seems in the context of tiny homes where space is so limitedStairs.png

Folding steps/stairs seem more common in attic storage, see that all over the place. Alternate steps'stairs have been used in some small/micro homes but more common in boats where they have been used for a very long time. I think most tend to go for full width treads but after a certain point, the treads are just unusable for the average adult to get their foot on without tripping. Might be a bit of a sod doing that more than once.

I just like the solution, and alternate is the steps/treads as storage a la Box in his traveling home.

Hi Mike you got me intrigued about stairs and space. Just take this as a thought bubble. This design could have building code balustrade;Stairs 2.jpgStairs 2.png

Yes, done quite a few like that with consideration to tread depth etc. Something that makes better use of these is the Quooker tap/faucet. You can do away with a kettle and get chilled drinking water from the same sauce. Sorry, my sense of humour button got stuck in the "on" position.

Personally, I would rather have the 'kitchen' done like this than a toilet bathroom adaptation. Never did like the idea of showering too close to the bidet in case I fell in. I know, Sorry, something must have snagged my numerous.......
