Fredo LOTT/V-Ray 7

Anyone heard if there's any updates on V-Ray 7 not launching if Fredo - Lord of the Toolbars is installed? Only post I could find post about it is almost a month old at this point. Just wondering if it's being looked at by Fredo6. Tried installing Aerilius Toolbar Editor, but it isn't working in SU2024.

No clue about why there is a problem.
I have to install VRay 7 and investigate.

@fredo6 This is what they told me when I reported it as not working.
"Our developers have found that the issue is that V-Ray can't be used while the Fredo6 Fredo Tools extension is installed and active"
Sticking with Vray 6 until they sort it out- not giving up my Fredo plugins...

The problem is related to the way VRay invokes commands.
I just published a tentative fix, as LOTT v2.9a, at least for the Windows platform.
Thanks to advise if this improves the situation.
Note: The drawback is that VRay cannot participate in LOTT, that is, you cannot create palettes or custom toolbars with VRay commands (nor see them in te Find menu).

@fredo6 Congratulations it works, it would certainly be nice to see it in the Lott list. Now without the lotoftoolbar I can no longer draw with skichup

@fredo6 I'm not sure who's update has resolved this but Vray 7 with the latest hotfix now works alongside the latest LibFredo and Thrupaint 2.8. For some reason Thrupaint had disappeared from my PC when I started it up today after the Xmas break, so installed the latest version today.
I don't use LOTT, so I can't give any feedback on that.
