Style builder and layout removal.
-
I have never and likely never will use layout or style builder, how can I remover them and save memory resources?

If you right click LayOut and pick Uninstall....

...it simply sends you to Add/Remove panel where the installer is SketchUp.
A standalone version would also need to remove all interoperability with LayOut which would make maintaining 2 versions of SketchUp.
But, I agree, that the installer should out of the box allow a user to pick what they want installed.

you could open the SU program directory at:
C;\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 202#\and delete the sub-directories "\LayOut" and "\StyleBuilder".
Don't be surprised if glitches may happen.
