Spaceship time again!
-
Tweaking the surface of this section. Close but not there yet.
-
There, that's better. Just had to keep eyeballing it and fiddling with the arcs.
-
I like where this is going, despite the boogers, you make a mean spaceship mate.

Thanks!
Hope to make some serious progress on it this weekend.

Well from here on out, it's going to be what it's going to be. The original art has far too many exaggerated lines and forced perspectives and too little detail.
It was worth a shot, but I'm just not good enough to replicate this without more views.
But this will work for me and it's time to wrap this one up.
Blocking in the rear details.
-
Oops. The rear fairing was not angled enough.
-
Fins for grins.
-
Like a 50's Caddy, fins are always good mate.....
-
I can feel it now!
Struggled a bit with the engine "flairs" (or whatever they are) and while not true to the painting, they look good to me.
More detailing to the aft section.
-
A different view. Also setting up the scene. More detail to come.
Note: this is a very sloppy model. I have things poking into other things and not bothered to intersect and trim. Too many weird angles.
-
Looking very promising indeed Bryan, starting to look well tranlated

I'm getting there.

hey bryan I think that is comming out great, and think that materials will be critical to do justice to the model. Am thinking of learning quixel mixer myself, Grunge around the exhausts with heated titanium materials and paint chips would look awsome.

Good suggestion.

First test render. Still need to add more detail to the model and I can see I need to adjust the colors just little.

Cleaning up the model. The rear engine pods were a mess.
Tweaking some proportions. Preparing the lettering. Fiddling with the forward under-hull details.
-
Got the rear pods cleaned up. Had some reversed faces as well. All fixed now.
