Crash with no recovery file

I am working on an ongoing project in SU. I just crashed without warning. No bug splat window, nothing. The file in the folder is an hour old and I know my SU saves every 20 mins.Any ideas I did a lot of work within that hour. I felt secure as I was sure I would get a recovery file as usual when I tried to open a new SU.
Any ideas what I might try?

There might be a recovery file. What version of SketchUp are you using? That info is missing from your profile.

Cheers Dave I have upgraded my profile. I am using 2021 pro. I have 2022pro but it belongs in the bin.

Thanks for updating your profile. Did you look in C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\SketchUp\SketchUp 2021\SketchUp\working\SKETCHUP\RecoveredFiles?

Why is that. I haaven't had any problems with 2022 at all. In fact I prefer it and LO2022 over 2021 by a long shot.
