SketchPro Annual plan
-
If I subscribe to the ShetchUo Pro Annual plan and then do not renew next year, does it stop working then or is it like the previous Classic license and I just quit getting updates and can continue using it? Also, does the Pro Annual plan include the iPad version?
It is my understanding that the “subscription” plans means the software quits working if you do new renew them and you are left with nothing.
Any clarity on these issues is greatly appreciated.

Yes. When you allow the subscription to lapse you won't be able to use SketchUp or LayOut. Basically like any other subscription.

Thanks for the reply Dave R, that is what I thought so guess I will have to stay with my old version.

As long as the old version continues to suit your needs, you might as well stick with it. Is that SU2019 as in your profile? Based on their Current Minus Two policy I would anticipate some features like the 3D Warehouse, Extension Warehouse, and Add Location may cease to function at some point but I don't guess you use those features, anyway. When it gets to the point where you need to upgrade, you ought to be able to pass on the cost to your clients without issue. It works out to only $25/month after all.
