Thanks Glenn. Can relate to the weight, my parents had one of similar size. Darn heavy to move and no real good place to grab hold. Funny thing with the revived interest in “vinyl” these old hi-if’s if in working order bring good money now. 👍

I wish that one that was in my house would have been worth saving and re-purposing to a buffet table or something. Can't wait to see the finished model!

Think I’ve taken this as far as needed. Tried to strike a balance with the details of the inside parts. Cool thing is if you don’t need the inside stuff it can be put on it’s own layer and turned off for rendering speed or just erased. Fun side note this hi-fi sold for $460.00 in 1965, a lot of money back then.

Thanks Bryan, would argue about “perfect” but it’ll fill the bill 👍

Love the model and render. My parents had on just like this. We sold it at a garage sale in 1998.

                  Good job sir. 👍 👍

Thanks ntxdave, F.Y.I. none of the images posted are renders. All just native SU output.

No worries. Just so you know… if your saving a raw SU image with shadows on if you play with the light and dark sliders it can dramatically change the look of the object in the image…
