Partially complete detailing rear engine pods. I'm happy with them so I started detailing but will stop here for now and move on to the next sections.
Mostly just blocks with some very basic angle shaping and some Joint Push/Pull to help with the weird angles. So MANY weird angles on this thing.
Then Tools on Surface for some of the other blocks.
Also widened the rear center thingies and change the geometry just a tiny bit to better match my references.

Overview.
Go back to the bottom of the previous page to see the rear engine details.

Completed the rear engine struts. There is no right or wrong way to make these. There were no good references except that I could see it's sort of a wing-thing and the top profile is about "that" big.

Alright! On to the neck and bridge decks!

Very sharp but you put a lot into them. Definitely very nice to see mate.
-
Thanks Mike!
-
Very rough scale and block-out of neck and upper decks.
I now see I have a main hull problem as well. It is too vertical. Damn glad I left that extra fore to aft hull line in. I can change the geometry without messing up the previous work... too much. sigh
So fix the hull first and then move back to the neck and upper decks.

Lots of progress on this, going really nicely mate.
-
Thanks Mike!

Minor tweaks. Trying to tighten things up a little. Refining the shapes. Double checking lines and positions for the future details before I start on the upper decks shapes.
-
Tweaking the neck geometry.
-
Upper deck was too long in the back.
Sloped the main hull a little bit more. Still needs a bit more slope on upper and lower hull. So, so glad I did not detail the main hull yet.
-
Roughing the bridge. It's close, but not round enough.
-
Other views. No progress today.

Smoothed out the bridge. Had to completely rebuild. Used Curviloft skin countours. It's done, just needs detailing.
Added the bubble to the main hull. It's a group within the component. (it's too small and I've already enlarged it)
Fiddled with the overall shape of the upper decks. Smoothed out (Erase+Ctrl) and narrowed the front of the neck. Erase+Ctrl'd the remaining hull lines, except the very top.
