Creating 3D shape with curved edges AND sloping top face
-
Hiya,
I am trying to create a 3D model of a property I am working on. House is done and the 2D layout of the garden is as well. I want to bring the garden to life by changing the levels to suit the real life levels. I am having huge issues with this! The driveway I would like to pickup by 130mm across the dotted line then slope back to the garage and road in a flat plane. As I have curved edges it just makes usual methods (for me) impossible.
Please help!

I'd use From Scratch to a create mesh that is suited to manipulation and the Drape tool to project your network of edges...
Most of what you need is in the Sandbox toolbar

Thank you for your reply.
I was considering the sandbox tool for this but I was wondering how I would the the driveway to grade from the highest point to the lowest in a flat line.
Also, using the drape tool, any tips for creating the contours exactly how they need to be then drape to its accurate to the layout of the driveway edges?

Rotate your From Scratch mesh to slope then select the area you need to flatten and rotate it.
Then drape your network of edges....

Thank you so much, that was a big help!
One other thing. There is the contour tool for pulling or pushing natural shapes but there there a way of grading along on straight line?
