It might not have been very difficult, but if Sketchup hadn't had the undo function, I think it wouldn't have been possible to do it right away. There are several options. I choose one when there were no sewing machines in those days, and the furniture makers upholstered everything by stretching the leather with nails alone.

ja, Good!!! a good tipp btw to use simple shaped proxys for the path-copied nails first and to refine them into detailed nails later on. Nice and informative presented as well

I use both, and SubD and Artisan. In this case, only SubD

I only imagine doing such jobs using Blender...or Wings 3D. I rarely tried Sketchup for such modelings.. Great job.
