Hi Fredo, per your request here is the post about the conflict I was having between D5 Renderer and LordOfTheToolbars.

        Error: Is a directory @ rb_sysopen - .../plugins/d5_converter

        The Cause:
LordOfTheToolbars was scanning all plugins to build its toolbar menu. When it encountered the d5_converter folder, it tried to open it as a file to read/copy it, but it's a directory, not a file. This happened in the ghost_command_register function.

        The Analysis:
The D5 Converter structure is standard (a .rb loader file + a subfolder with extension code)
        Nothing weird about D5's structure
LordOfTheToolbars wasn't properly checking if something is a directory before trying to open/copy it

        Summary:
The extension causing the conflict is LordOfTheToolbars. It's failing when scanning the plugins folder because it tries to open the d5_converter directory as if it were a file (using rb_sysopen), triggering the "Is a directory" error. The fix would be adding a directory check before attempting to open/copy files in the ghost_command_register function.

I am having an issue with conflict between D5 render live sync plugin.
When the live sync version was D5_LiveSync_Sketchup_usa_1.6.1.0020, there was no issue.
After i update it to D5_LiveSync_Sketchup_usa_1.7.0.0001.
The LOTT vignette strip stopped loading.
I am forced to roll back to older 1.6 version to get the LOTT to load properly.
Kindly look into this issue if possible.
          Regards..

My LOTT broke today. I wanted to add a new extension to my toolbars, and when I clicked on the Master Toolbar Manager button, my vignette stripe disappeared and all my custom toolbars got F'd. Its doubling every button in my custom toolbars, even new toolbars I make, sometimes not even using the correct icon. (They only appear doubled on the toolbar itself and not in the manager.) The stipe is gone, but all my palettes are still available in the Favorites Manager, and I can open them manually. Restarting SketchUp resets the toolbars, but if I open the manager it screws them up again. Can't get the stripe to come back at all. Reinstalling the extension didn't help. v2.9c with sketchup 2018

May we expect a fix for this issue between D5 render livesync and LOTT?

                    Hi,

For some reason while trying to set up my toolbars, my V-Ray tool sets do not show up in the Master Toolbar Manager. It seems like almost everything except that shows up.

Is there something specific I need to do to get it to show?

                    Using SketchUp 2026, version 26.0.429

                    Thank you!

Nothing you can do. I had to remove VRay from the list of icons because VRay does something to precisely avoid indirect calls (liek LOTT does).

I don't particularly use D5 Render LiveSync, but just wanted to note that I had to remove it for this plugin to function.

Could you tell me what is the name of the main folder of the D5 extension. I don't have it.

Then I can exclude it from LOTT.

                          Fredo
