        Hi Fredo,
An amazing plugin - truly a game changer for Plugin reliant Su users! especially helpful on my laptop

I got a suggestion and an issue.

My suggestion is - could the palettes appear with the use of a shortcut then disappear when a plugin has been hit. with an option for the Palette to appear where the cursor is and in a user defined locations.

        My issue
I'm having trouble altering my palettes. Icons/separators double up when I move them, with these ghost icons/separators I can't right click on them. Ive done al ot of combinations of holding shift / control but the its seems the same what ever combo i use....

go here for a video of what i mean and then - of all things a crash!!

        Cheers
        Chris

          Some observations:
The plugin misbehaves heavily in large files*:
Open command search window makes navigation (lags &freezing) in complex and heavy files practically impossible.
Command search itself becomes super slow.
Icons refuse to disappear when user tries to remove them.
Restoring from a good config file has no effect. Restart is needed to see the change.
*- normally 3-6+ SU windows are opened simultaneously. Hard to say if it influence, but standard UI elements in every file run perfectly.

Could you check if there is a lag when you do a right-click in selection mode (with the LOTT Search closed)?

Where do you try to remove icons from?

Are you referring to the synchronization mechanisms between SU instances on Windows?

*) no lags with SU right click menu (whith LOTT Search closed) IIRC.
*) removed icons remain (untill restart) in user LOTT pallets
*) I mean normally I keep open numerous different skp files (maybe it affects, but unlikely)
Maybe its a good idea to send you some heavy file later on to take a look..
              Thank you

Can you open the Ruby Console before clicking on the LOTT palette. There may be errors displayed.

                    Hi,
I was really excited to add this essential plug-in to my SU installation. Unfortunately, it isn't functioning for me.

                    My system :
                    • iMac Pro (2017) - 32GB Ram, 3.2Ghz Xeon W
                    • macOS Monterey (12.0.1)
                    • Sketchup 2021 & 2020

                    Problem :
                    • Cannot drag and drop icons to custom tool palettes or toolbars.

Initially I thought this was a SU2021 problem so I reinstalled 2020 but the problem persists. I have done a thorough system clean (Caches, etc) but still the problem persists in both versions of SU.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

                    BWm,
                    Hypernurd

Manipulations with large palettes became (so far) much more predictable and stable with latest release. Thank you very much Fredo 👍
P.S. Could theoretically LOTT show user's shortcuts directly in tool tips and command search?

                            Please help
I have set up LOTT but the vignette strip is stuck on my laptop screen and will not drag to my 2nd larger screen where I use SU. I can solve this by making the 2nd screen the main screen in windows11 but then SU does not allow me to access the standard menus and SU freezes. I run lot s of pluggins and this is the first time I have had this issue. Having the vignette strip on the laptop screen also means The favourite pallets I have made open on that screen as well and the shortcuts don't work. This make LOTT un useable for me which would be a shame because it looks awesome.
I would be extremely grateful if you cold help trouble shoot this issue.
                            Kind regards

                            Mike

Further to previous post. It is worth noting that the LOTT toolbar is open on the main screen. The favourite, master and shortcut menus open on laptop and can be dragged to main screen but everything else is stuck on the laptop screen. Its like the vignette strip does not recognise the second screen.
I am using LOTT V1.6a and LIBfredo6 v12.3a. SU2021 all up to date.
                              Thanks

It's funny, because other users have complained that the Vignette Stripe does not follow Sketchup when the main SU window is moved to another monitor (hence the changes I made to keep the Vignette Stripe position relative to the Sketchup viewport).

I need to think a little bit to see how to accommodate all requirements.

Talking of moving to 2nd monitor.. I'm so pleased with rosette behavior - it preserves location perfectly and no more disappearings ☀
Hope one day palettes will be able to keep their relative location while manipulating SU viewport in precise manner as well.

Instead, I would suggest that you install LOTT V1.6b, which includes an option for setting or unsetting the stickiness of the Vignette Stripe to the Sketchup window (ON by default, so you would need to disable it in the Default Parameters).
