Very nice work, great use of DOF and I know how hwrd it is to make a convincing power cord

Thank you @"L i am", Dof helps realism. I agree it is challenging, used the Bezier Spline plugin as the wire path and then used a 12s circle as its section, then used follow me tool to create it.

I am nowadays busy learning modeling and rendering using Blender3D...
Modeling and render settings took me 10 hours and rendering using Cycles in 5minutes.

Despite loving Sketchup for its ease of use and speed, I am doing the bulk of my jobs using Blender, as it has so many features that I feel I need. I am getting used to its interface and tools slowly.
