Very nice Dave. Are the dashed lines done in post production (photoshop)?

Thank you sir. The dashed lines were created in SketchUp and an image export was laid over the rendered image in the image editor.

Thank you. It's actually quite simple and quick to do. In this case, because I wanted the dashed lines to be white due to the dark background, I inverted the colors in the image (only black and white for this) and then set the layer blend mode to Additive. Most often when I want to use linework from SU with a render the line work image has a white background and I use Multiply for the blend mode.

DaveR, Could you also use the dashed line tool in TIG's 2D Tools and set the color to white which would save some steps (maybe). Just a thought.......

I suppose you could do that however I don't know that the rendered 2D faces would look that good. It's really such a simple thing to combine images that it is easy enough to do what I do. And if I don't want to show certain lines, I can deal with them more easily that trying to paint something out in a rendered image.

Understand, as I aid, just a thought. I have used it in images that I rendered and it worked well even though other edges did not show,

BTW; your render looks great to me.
