Spring loaded mouse wheel
-
I have a logitech mouse with a spring loaded wheel which I am using with Sketchup Pro on a MacBook pro. When I am navigating and I let go of the wheel it springs up and completely disorients me in the model. Is there a mouse that anyone can recommend that doesn't come with that problem? I have tried training myself to release gently but to no avail, especially when I am focussed on doing something other than thinking about the mouse wheel.

What model is the mouse. I have several different Logitech mice and all work fine in SketchUp. I prefer them to other mice I've used.

Logitech used to have a great product but there is no doubt in my mind that quality has gone down over the last four or five years, their keyboards too. My ex had three total keyboard/mouse set failures with he new pc a few years ago, from a brand new build, not an upgraded old item. How many other brands would get by with three useless units like that.

Cooler Master CM310 (wired) here, great little (inexpensive) daily driver.

My daily driver is a Logitech M510. I've used it so much I've worn the label off the top, one of the feet off the bottom and polished about half the bottom of it on the mouse mat.

The other foot on the battery cover won't last much longer.
