      Hello everyone!
this is my first post, so be patient with me! πŸ˜„

I write you because I need advice.

I have to make a project that looks like this architect's practice.
      https://theverymany.com/public-art/11-edmonton

An 3d organic form on which 2d geometric shapes are applied.

The idea is to create a curved organic form on which to apply graphic texture shapes provided by an artist.
Is there a way to do this in SketchUp?

I don't think it's a problem for me to make the organic form (like the ones shown on the site).
The problem is how to apply the 2d patches on the 3d form ( possibly with an overlap to allow assembly) and then extract the individual faces for CNC cutting, without becoming crazy and having a rigor in cataloging the pieces.

      can you help me?
do you have any ideas? β˜€

      Thanks!

Or of course SubD by Thomthom for the organic form πŸ˜‰

About the "planar" pieces maybe take a look at the Slicer 6 by TIG πŸ˜‰
and the Lattice maker familly always by TIG! πŸ˜‰

PS About global structure maybe also take a look at the free TopMod ! β˜€
(compatible to SketchUp by OBJ format)
