      I have a .stl file I downloaded and changed in Sketchup 2015.

      When I export it for Cura, it looks fine, until after slicing, it looks weird in the preview screen.

      The first image is before slicing.

      The second is after slicing.

        Do you have 'reversed faces' ?
        In SketchUp, View > Monochrome.
        You should never see any back [blue/gray] faces...
        Select and 'reverse' them...

          That's good to know that can be an issue.

          For this file, I don't see any reversed faces.
