      Greetings,

Using many extensions for Sketchup causes a huge amount of entry in Extension menu.
Mouse scrolling is not available within the menu. To find the proper item one has to keep pressing a tiny arrow at the bottom or at the Tom of the list.

There is no alphabetical order there.

My question is whether there is a way to either organize/group the menu items or remove some from the list.

Is there any plugin, and yes one more 😲 to the list to help a user to manage the list of plugins in the extension menu?

Thank you in advance for any suggestion.

            Thank you.

Chances are most of the extension you have installed don't get used regularly. The best options are to disable extensions you use only once in awhile in the Extension Manager or in the Sketchucation Extension Store. Then enable them temporarily when you want to use them. In the SCF Extension Store you can enable extensions for only the current session so they don't load every time you start SketchUp. This will keep your menus more manageable and it'll shorten startup time because you won't have to wait for all those extensions to load.

You might also consider taking a good look at the extensions you have installed. I would imagine there's at least a few of them that you don't really need.

You can make groups with the Plugin manager. So one can be a smaller group and one can be the expanded group or groups for rendering as opposed to organic modeling etc. Might speed up the software too.

Each extension's Ruby code tells SketchUp what items it wants to add to which menu. SketchUp adds items at the bottom of a menu in the order that the extensions are loaded during startup. So, at least in theory it would be possible to put all the extension files into a non-standard folder and have a single "master" extension in the standard folder that would load the others in whatever order you want (or not load them). I don't know if any such extension exists.

I think that extension would be the Sketchucation Extension Manager. No?

No. It lets you selectively turn extensions on and off, but has no effect on the order in which they are loaded or the order in which their items are placed in menus.
