[Plugin][$] FredoCorner - v2.7a - 31 Mar 24
-
What version of SketchUp are you using? Your profile indicates a version that doesn't exist and that could be the cause.
-
Dave, I use SketchUp 2018 Pro version. It has to be compatible with FredoCorner, at least the notation to the plugin says that.

FredoCorner works on SU2018.
Can you open the Ruby console before you launch FredoCorner. Thanks.

Please, tell me why?
Frame 2x2cm, try offsen 0,2cmPossibly, the model is too small. Try to scale it up (and then scale it down).
Also, it would help to post the model.

Hi, I posted the model again, and gif
Frame 2x2 offset 0.2.skp -
There seems to be a bug in FredoCorner. Not easy to identify.
I'll have a closer look.
In the meantime, I suggest you use RoundCorner, which will do the job with no issue.

Hi!
Are there chances of fixing the bug that a simple bevel cuts along the new faces in two?
Cheers!

NEW RELEASE: FredoCorner v1.8a - 26 Apr 20
Requirement: LibFredo6 9.1b
FredoCorner 1.8a is a major release
- Disabled the possibility to round new corners in the same session. When corners are generated, you have the option to modify the parameters ('Apply Change') or to Exit (Double-Click).
- Correction for the Bevel tool at triangulated corners. Bevel are now made of a single face, possibly triangulated, except when the bordering faces do not have the same material.
Please note that, in the current version of FredoCorner:
- there are issues with some shortcut modifiers (Ctrl, Alt) on Mac)
- there are known issues and bugs here and there. This concerns in particular Collisions, i.e. when the offset is too large.
- Terminal corners (that is ending on a single edge) may present issues and bugs
- No documentation yet, so watch the videos that I will publish.
Please report issues, questions and any feedback in the present thread

Thank you so much! I needed this change a lot
Your fantastic tools are like air to me. -
FredoCorner v1.8a & LibFredo6 v10.5a User.
I want the edge color to appear as the sketchup default.
At the moment of using the Fredocorner brown, magenta, red and violet materials appear in the material window.
I don't want this to appear. What should I do?

First show an example of what you are seeing.
What version of SketchUp are you using. Your profile says "2019 Free/Make" but there is no such version.

Sorry for that. I use colors for debugging purpose and apparently I left them in the published version.
This is fixed in FredoCorner v1.8b

Hello. Great job with this amazing tool Fredo !
I'v just installed today and test it with the direct link for Twinmotion, sadly the beveling doesn't appear, and also it shows issues on the geometry.
But exporting the model to Twinmotion it works great. -
What is this "direct link for Twinmotion"?
Did you generate the geometry or just activate the Preview mode (whihc is just drawing, not generating geometry)?

Fredo, could you make the offset faces stay selected after command is executed please? Just like you did in JPP. It'd help tremendously to do some nice things with this separated selection.
P.S. You are one step from making long awaited Groove maker. All it takes is to add is to add 'ignore hard\open edges' option***** in pre-selected geometry and integrate merge coplanar offset faces and JPP inwards.https://youtu.be/biCLFhMEPVA?t=56
*- In his video, Ahmed solves this ignoring problem by drawing initial groove lines on separate tag.
