      Hi all

I have been leaching off the forum mostly since joining - never really had much to say/contribute, just a lot of reading and learning.
I have arrived at a point where I think I have something to show and would appreciate any crit, pointers and corrections.

A few things I already know: I have not paid too much attention to materials on the yellow buoy or on my ship. Still lots of work to do there. What say you about the ocean, the horizon and all the rest. Will I be able to sell this as pro work, or is it still way too amateur?

Someone would definitely pay for 3d graphics like this. It just needs to be the right customer and a fair price I would think.

My opinion is that this is very good for this subject matter, scale etc. When you get into architectural or other types of design, a more polishe photo-realistic or artistic style may be needed. (The corduroy waves look a little unusual, but sort of cool too. I mean they could be there, but usually you'll see that sort of wave action very close to shore.)
