Out of square model

Has anyone had a complicated model get out of axis?
working on a building. IF I make a outline of the floor plan and raise it above the plan, then try to blue axis to the corners, I get things like 2 inches away, or right angles that protractor to 90.4 degrees. spent 2 days trying to troubleshoot. back is against the wall: it's a complicated model.
Any suggestions about how to straighten it out? -
Have you accidentally changed the model axis.
Right click on either Red, Blue or Green in open space and see if you get the option to Reset Axis. -
... or are you working on the basis of an imorted dwg file template, which is not totally flat under certain circumstances?

Description sounds like the blue axis is skewed, and Box may be onto something. Share the model or a part of the model to let others try. If they can see the solution to part, you can apply to the rest.

Fortunately there is an easy fix (see above), unless you have modeled with the axis off.

There have been times when I have drawn lines along the various axes, going from one set point to another but a surface is not created. I get the impression that this is an accuracy issue myself. SU appears to be doing what I want but need second and third checks upon which I find there is an endpoint that has not 'gone the distance and the direction of the line is wrong too'. Cured by starting the surface from scratch and checking again, again. Bad description I know but hopefully you will get the gyst of it.

You guys have some great ideas. There is a wing of this house that is the culprit. I am paying attention to the instructions above and reset axis. There are so many surfaces that don't make and have to stitch them together. Just the masonry buttresses are signal enough to be wary. I am putting it together for dwg and finish in cad. If I can isolate a piece I'll post it. Thanks everyone!
