      SU Pro 2017
      SU Pro 2018
      Win 10

It makes no difference which of my three computers I use I consistently get error messages when I try to Update extensions. This has been a problem even back in Ver 2017.
I've worked around it by just re-installing, but I thought I'd give it one more try to get a resolution.

The current list of trouble makers is:
      Vertex Tools
      Trimble Connect
      S4u-Slice
      cleanup3
      Advanced Camera Tools
      Dynamic Components
      Place Shapes Toolbar
      TT_Lib2

      Some examples:
      sandbox2.PNG
      slice.PNG
      Updatemanager.PNG

To make it even more problamatic is with each failure to update I get the "Success" popup:

I have the exact same problem. Somethings broken. Not sure if this a Trimble problem or a Microsoft problem. Microsoft seems to break something every other update.

I have this from time to time, quite annoying.

It seems the best way to solve it is to download the relevant extensions manually (via a web browser such as Chrome or whatever it is you use) onto your machine and then install them using the Extension Manager.

Re-installing the sup_... 'ShippedExtensions' can cause issues.
I recommend [re]installing them, then immediately [without restarting SketchUp] copying their RB and matching subfolder into the SketchUp...ShippedExtensions folder.
This means that if SketchUp ever decides to re-copy these into Plugins, then you won't get the old version back !

Then you've got to remember to keep the plugin folder and the ShippedExtensions folder synchronized ! More headache 😞
