    Hi all,

Often, after having heavily edited components, I right-click and "save-as" them, so I can have them ready to insert in my next project.

Yet, when I insert exactly those in a new file, they directly "jump" to their "original" location, essentially the location where I did the save-as mentioned above.

They do so without even letting me move them, so I then have to go and take them from there.. 😒

This is completely unlike "normal" components, which usually insert close to your mouse, and they even move with your cursor..

Any idea how I can make my custom saved components behave normally?

    Many thanks!

This sounds to me as if your components are geo-located. If you don't want that behavior, you need to remove the geo-location properties.
