Shape bender question

Hi all, I am trying to use shape bender but am having issues. Have attached an image of the result I am getting. The straight reference line is on the red axis by the way. Can anybody identify what I am doing wrong?Cheers

Look closely where the lines, objects are placed / Origin
And why not publish your skp ? (save as V6 for more large audience)

hmm - the principle works good here - so Pilou is right, let's look at your skp-file (in any lower version)...

Ah thanks box and others, am on a mission to do a chair that has to be finished by Monday ( Edited:and I have no idea what I am doing)
so have changed methods. Cannot re visit Shape bending, that model does not exist any more.
