      Hi,
      I haven't got a clue if I have shared these right, I barely manage to work a computer, so please go easy on me.
      I downloaded SU2017 make onto my new computer (Dell XPS15 4k) and every time I try to open the programme I get a Bug splat. I am at a loss what to do. Any help would be appreciated

        If it's splatting on startup there are two likely culprits. First, did you install SketchUp correctly. By that I mean, did you right click on the installer and choose Run as administrator from the menu? If not, or if you aren't sure, do that now. If you are presented with the option, choose Repair.

        Second, what kind of graphics does your computer have? What is the specific manufacturer and model number? Make sure the drivers are up to date. Unlike older versions of SketchUp, SketchUp 2017 requires that you have a graphics processor that is capable. Some aren't. In older versions you could compensate for a feeble graphics processor by turning off Hardware Acceleration which would make the CPU do the work instead. That's not an option with SU2017.

          Your dropbox files are gone, so I can't comment on them. Did you submit the BugSplats having filled in the fields for info about yourself? If so, someone at Trimble will take a look and let you know if this is a known bug or, for example, an issue with some extension. Be patient - they get enough splat reports that sometimes a reply takes a while.
