      Cosy!

OK JuJu, that sounds a bit condescending or did I misunderstand?
What you see here is a cutting edge living space. And yes, it is cosy in winter and hopefully cool in summer.

Or did you mean just small?
Which is a very different thing.

Not condescending at all. I could picture myself in a space like you've created...

      Ok,sorry, tis' a mis-translation then.
In Oz, Cosy equals cute. I hate cute 😄

As a clarification, cosy equals snug and easy to live in. Not more than you need.

The subtleties of a language are always an exciting thing!
Someone like me has to use deepl.com or similar to distinguish the words and their spoken and understood meanings to decide then to use it in an English post - that has often "gone in my pants" here 😄 but luckily is being asked here and can be clarified then...

I love this mobile Home and for me it is "gemütlich, behaglich, wohnlich" which is all, a home has to be 👍 😆
Impressive for me about this small Home is that in it can be accommodated a fully staircase up to the sleeping area as a clever combi-furniture for storage space. The selection of the outer aluminum material is also smart because in this shape and color (RAL 9006 ?) available everywhere and so, if necessary, easy to repair...

so almost finished - I am looking forward to photos then ...

Having a good look at those pictures gives a clearer idea of the process, design wise. Very nicely done.

I don't suppose someone with a good data allocation would like to put those Dropbox photos up here?
My data is costing 10 bucks per gig, ridiculous, but that's Australia.

That's crazy expensive Baz, have a look at a new plan, Belong offer 15gig for 40 bucks I think, and there are lots of others throwing it around at the moment. I used their offers to push my Optus plan up to 30gig a month for 45 buck.

I feel your pain there Baz, nothing worse that being stuck with poor coverage. Here on the river I get a brilliant connection. Data, calls, overseas mobile, skype etc all perfect, I even called someone on her mobile in germany while skyping with her and there was no lag between phone and screen. But go back to my house in the middle of sydney and I have to stand on top of the toilet and hold my mouth the right way just to make a call.

Looks pretty neat, Baz. My parents are caravaning around AU at the moment and knowing how much they paid for their new van, I know what I how I'd rather spend my cash....

Any ideas for an outdoor add-on to create a bit of a patio area?

Most definitely, need to get the interior finished first, then will plan a lightweight de-mountable deck, with probably a shade sail over.

I'm glad to see that like the rest of us from down here you have the extinguisher in the right place.
The chances of fire in the kitchen and bedroom are basically the same.

I am loving it, except when I'm not.

Which is mostly about my off grid setup. PV, Inverter/Chargers, Batteries, (48V, 4x200Ah batts. 6 x 270W PV).
                                      Generators, RANT over.

And yes, it is very quiet. So quiet that I sometimes hear the airbrakes on the Mudland Hwy, bout 8 klms west away.

But then there's the maggies that hit the roof hard bout dawn to practice their carrier landings. They then sit around and squack about it.

And dont get me started about deer coughing at me.

Looking South about 3 months ago, pretty bloody dry. (Alt: 125m AGL. 800mtr MSL).

Box me old dear, I have read this 4 times now and still she make no sense.

In the interests of good bookkeeping, I submit the following:

Number of Kitchen fires that I have either experienced or have trusted hearsay: 7 in last 30 years.
Number of Bedroom fires that I have either experienced or have trusted hearsay: 0 in last 30 years.

Damn fine gin and lime, this.
