HI! I have a problem while manipulating curves.

how do I keep my curves in one piece after bending

In the image below, I have one piece straight lines but as I do group and shape bender my

curves are broken piece by piece.

I still need those bended curve for next step.

In order to have one piece curve again, I have to weld them one by one. too much labor.

but what if there are tons of broken pieces of curves then how am I weld them.....

not only shape bender but quite many transforming plugins break up lines

especially when it ends to something round, curvy.

Can I get some tip on the issue???

        Thanx filibis

I used 'weld by smustard' before (now I installed superweld? in JHS powerbar) but It still requires handpicking each broken curves to weld selectively

when I select whole parts including broken part and hit weld,

sometimes curves mixed up and made weird connections.

        I haven't tried 'removeloneyvertices' yet (where is libfredo6 7.7?? Holy~ can't find anywhere)

but I got the feeling that it will solve my issue. (will let you know as I get it!)

        thanx again!

There is also Curvizard plugin which has weld feature (i think better).

You can double click to curved surface which select all surrounding edges and deselect that you don't need.
click above image to play .gif

Ignore that plugin, Curvizard or JHS powerbar should be fine. Read carefully what fredo6 writes in his plugin topics (there is a download part).

I just followed your gif. demo and worked perfect.

this will save enormous time and effort.

so I'm just hoping it's got no downside. ha~

            thanx for the help!! πŸ‘
