Extension manager woes
-
I'm having some problems when trying to update a plugin through Extension Manager.
I get a "Failed to update SketchUV. Unable to read extension archive."I've been having problems with some other extensions as well.
I also tried updating them through the Sketchucation Extension Store and that seem to work but the nag from Extension manager keeps poping up when ever I start SU. I have the loading policy setting set to "Unrestricted."
Is there a way of disabling that nag Popup or is there a way of making these problem extensions install?

I think, from memory when it did this to me, you just need to sign out and back in to re-establish the direct link to the EW.

Had same issue. Did as Box suggested. All good.

Just tried logging out and in again twice but that did not work.
Same problem.
Any other ideas? -

Any other ideas?Did you log out of EW in SU, close SU, restart SU, log back in to EW in SU?
I used to get the error message with more than one extension and the advice worked fine.

Tried again and restarted SU but after login it's still the same problem.
This is with SU 2017 on Windows 7.
Would I need to also log out from SU 2016 and also my from web browser? -
I've been locked out from EW and 3DW for months from within SU.
I'm logged in but the buttons do nothing.
I just use web browser.

Another SketchUp user (confirmed to have the same issue) and myself are running into the exact same problem.
SketchUV Fails to update and continues to be "Unsigned" in both win 7 and win 10.Pixero, did any solution work for you or is it still hanging today?

Here's the fix, complete with pictures! I tested this with a half dozen people and it worked every time.
