Hi folks,

is there a plugin which performs an operation on a model with the result that just the visible surface is kept?

Outer Shell doesn't do the job, it propts: "one or more ... is not a component or group".

Why not make the solid groups and use Outer Shell?

Otherwise just use Intersect faces.
