Set the default segments for circles?

I'm building a model with a lot of arcs and circles. I would like to up the default number of segments. Is there a way to do this? I understand the increased geometry ramifications.

If you set the default[s] at the offset of opening the model - separately for circle and arc ! - then they are remembered during the use of that model.
But next time they'll revert to the built-in defaults.There have bee attempts [at least on PC] to run a 'macro' key-stroke tool as SketchUp starts to reset the circle/arc segments...
